Members of SADARS went to Buxton for the weekend 16 - 18 July 2010 to play with radios! Have a look at what we got up to over the weekend.
Greyline 2010

Seven members of SADARS met up at Aspen car park (Cannock Chase) at 3am on Saturday 26th June 2010 for greyline event. We set up a 20m moxon and a doublet for 40/80m and managed to work a number of stations.
GB4WAB Special Event Station
SADARS celebrated 40 years of Worked All Britain and put on a station from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August 2009. We all had a a great time and made hundreds of contacts on HF and VHF over the weekend.
Practical Wireless 2m Low power Contest
Paul, 2E0FPC and Peter, M0VTS took part in the Practical Wireless low power contest on Sunday 14th June 2009 from a portable location at Stafford Castle. We were actually located iside the castle which is around 124 metres ASL.
We made many contacts all over the UK and some into France and Ireland.
Mobile Communications Van
This is the SADARS mobile communications van. It will be kitted out with mains power, lights, benches etc and will be a great asset to the group on portable operating event such as contests and special event stations.
